Thanks Brian. I’ve been pretty happy with Textpattern. I had to modify some plugins originally developed by others to get some of the functionality. And for the Tag functionality, I had to add a custom table to the database, and make some minor changes to the core Textpattern code. Email me about the functionality you would like to copy, and I’ll give you the code.

This looks like it will be really cool. I am already gearing up for good discussion of literature and other fun stuff.

It looks like you have a few bugs to work out still! The text in this comment as I am looking at it right now is not wrapping when it hits the side bar but rather seems to be continuing underneath the sidebar!
