My life never seems to slow down for even a week at a time, and since the week before the election, I have had to take a break from blogging to tend to more substantial concerns. It is tiring, but I like to think that I “can fill the unforgiving minute with sixty seconds’ worth of distance run” as Rudyard Kipling described it in his poem “If.” Even when it is exhausting, I enjoy every minute.
Fear not, I have plenty of of thoughts, themes, and projects churning that will soon find their way out here.
So please don’t lose patience, dear readers. Take advantage of the RSS Feeds or the email subscription service on the sidebar of the blog so that now, as I begin posting again with more frequency, you will know it.
Thanks for reading and for your feedback.

I LOVE rss feeds (I use the google reader). What an innovation, being informed whenever people update instead of skipping to however many websites thru the day. Love it!
I love feeds too. And the Google Reader really is great. I have my Firefox Browser set up so that whenever I click on a site feed icon in the address bar it subscribes me to the site’s feed with Google Reader. And then I have the reader embedded right on my Google Personal Home Page.
Of course, I’m subscribed to your blog and read it enthusiastically every time you post (even if I don’t comment as I should).
